Travel to Damouchari

This is for UK based guests

Flying direct from Gatwick to Volos

You can now fly direct to Volos from Gatwick using Charter Flights. There is only one flight a week:  Friday at 5.35 am and arrive in Volos at 12.30 pm.

A very early flight but it’s the most direct option.

A return is currently £229 and includes 20kg luggage.

We can arrange a taxi share for you from Volos direct to Damouchari with experienced taxi drivers, so you can arrive with ease. The taxi will cost approximately 50 euros per person if you share with three other guests.

Overnight stay Thessaloniki
You can also fly from Stansted to Thessaloniki on an afternoon flight (any day of the week). As you’ll arrive late it’s best to stay overnight in Thessaloniki. There are many gorgeous, affordable hotels there, and the late night restaurants make a vibrant welcome to Greece! Perhaps you may even want to travel there a day or two earlier to see the city before you head to Mount Pelion?

You might find this link useful for booking hotels.

I stayed in Le Palace Art Hotel which is very central, close to Aristotelous Square (the airport bus conveniently stops there).

In the morning take a bus to Volos, then another bus takes you to a beach close to Damouchari through a beautiful route (we can arrange pickup). Or, you can buddy up and take a cab from Volos.

Do let us know your preferred option so we can talk it all through with you.
